One Tail One Meal wants every street animal in the world to be fed.
We’re starting in Cairo,
one warm meal at a time, and providing tools and working with communities in every city and country
so they can do the same on their own streets.

We’re a couple — one of us Egyptian-Australian, the other a long-time supporter of animal charities.
For years, we’ve paid for food ourselves and fed street animals wherever we found them.
But a meal today doesn’t guarantee one tomorrow.
That’s why we started One Tail One Meal: to turn individual acts of kindness into regular, coordinated feeding.
Our vision includes a mobile feeding truck.
We’re still working through its design and practical requirements, with a simple goal: helping more animals receive meals they can count on.
Because every tail deserves a meal.
For a hungry street animal, a meal meets an immediate need.
Regular feeding is one part of the care they deserve — alongside clean water, veterinary attention and shelter.
Every act of kindness sends a simple message:
these animals matter.

Ideas, introductions, a day on the round, help reaching people who care. Volunteers have shaped almost everything here so far.

If you have trimmings and bone at the end of the day, that is a truck full of meals. Tell us where you are and we will build the round around you.

A street, an office or a school collecting food or funds together does more than any one of us can alone.
App screenSpot a Paw is the app we built so anyone can report an animal in trouble, plan a feeding round, or pass on spare meat.
