Adopt‑a‑Paw

Find the one who's been waiting for you.

Built Both halves work. People look without an account, narrow by kind, size and age, keep the ones they like and apply; rescues sign themselves up, put animals up with photographs, publish them and read the replies. Happy tails shows the ones who found somebody.

Vision

Every street or shelter animal gets a fair chance to be seen and chosen.

Mission

Help rescuers and shelters show their animals beautifully and help adopters find the right match, with half of all income going to feed the animals still waiting.

Why it exists

Mission first: it turns animals helped through Spot a Paw and OneTailOneMeal into adoptions, and earns a modest income from shelter plans.

Who it’s for: Adopters and fosterers; small rescues, shelters and individual rescuers (including in Egypt).

Inside the app

What Adopt‑a‑Paw does today

Everything here is built and working. Screens follow.

Built and working
  • Look without an account: every animal published by a rescue
  • Narrow by what they are, how big they will get and how old they are
  • A photograph on every animal, on the card and on their own page
  • Keep the ones you like — nobody else sees what you have kept
  • One application, sent straight to the rescue, then messages between you
  • Report and block in the messages, and the people you have blocked on your account
  • Rescues sign themselves up and put an animal up the same minute
  • Happy tails: the ones who found somebody
What it does

Built around real days on the street and at home

Technology and AI

Where AI helps in Adopt‑a‑Paw

Every line says whether it works today, is coming soon, or is planned.

  • PlannedSuggest animals that fit an adopter's home and routine, and explain why, so the first meeting is a good one.
  • PlannedDraft an animal's profile and story from its rescue record, for the rescuer to edit.
  • PlannedTranslate profiles and messages between Arabic and English.

How it helps street animals

Adopters never pay. Shelters can choose a paid plan, and 50% of Adopt-a-Paw's net revenue funds meals for street animals.

Animals rescued through Spot a Paw can be listed in one tap. New adopters are invited to Care-a-Paw.
