Because Every Tail Deserves a Meal

My partner & I have always been concerned about the welfare of stray animals, and we often discuss how to feed and care for hungry tails.  

We feel a deep responsibility toward the stray animals that roam the streets, so we decided to take action! 

I am an Egyptian-Australian who always feels helpless when thinking of all the forgotten dogs and cats in Egypt. For years, I have tried to feed every animal I could, one meal at a time — but I want to do more. 

My partner has always donated lots of money to charities, and supported invdividuals and NGO's trying to make a difference in a tails life.

Our message is simple: no stray should go hungry Because Every Tail Deserves a Meal. 

With your support, we hope to launch specially-equipped food trucks that travel through local neighborhoods, collecting leftover meat from butchers, cooking it safely in the van, and serving warm meals to starving animals every day. These meals will be delivered on edible, eco-friendly plates made from vegetables, ensuring that nothing goes to waste and nothing harms the environment.

Our mission to create mobile One Tail One Meal food trucks — custom utility vans driven by local heroes who care about animals. 

 We chose Cairo, Egypt, as our first location because of our familiarity with the country and its efficient and cost-effective approach to getting things done.

These vans will:

• Stop at local butchers to collect leftover chicken, beef, and bones
• Cook the food safely in a built-in cooker, ensuring it’s clean and bacteria-free
• Drive through streets, alleys, and markets to feed the animals where they are
• Serve meals on eco-friendly, edible plates made from vegetables like carrots or potatoes, so nothing is left behind and even the plate becomes part of the meal
• No waste. No pollution. No empty bellies.

Our dream is to roll out these food trucks in Cairo, Alexandria, Giza — and eventually in countries everywhere that struggle with stray animal populations. Feeding them doesn’t just fill a stomach — it restores dignity, trust, and hope.

A hungry animal becomes desperate. A fed animal becomes calm, gentle, and hopeful.

When we feed them, we reduce suffering.

When we show kindness, we reduce fear.

When we care, we inspire others to care too.

Sometimes the greatest change begins with the smallest act — a warm meal on a cold street.

We have funded what we can from our own pocket for years, feeding strays wherever we go. But to scale this — to build the first vans, to hire local drivers, to cook safely and consistently, and to reach thousands of animals — we need the support of people who believe compassion should have no borders.
